In Moderno Tropical, Raphael Dias' perspective delves into in-depth research into the iconic Capanema Building - former Ministry of Education - a historic modernist landmark that carries with it other sources of Brazilian representation such as dozens of works of art - from painting to tapestry - inside.
From the rescue of these images - all of them private from the public eye, as the building has been closed since 2014 - Raphael takes his look at each environment and each sign of the project, celebrating their forms in new compositions -
represented in their works.
